A small team on a mission to make hiring better for everyone. In 2021, our founders saw a problem that every recruiter, hiring manager, and candidate felt:

Hiring was broken. Slow, biased, inconsistent, and overwhelmingly manual.

There had to be a better way. So we built Testlify, an intelligent assessment and interviewing platform designed to cut through the noise with clarity, fairness, and speed.

What started as a small bootstrapped idea has grown into a team of 100+ thoughtful humans across the world, serving thousands of HR professionals every day.

Want to know more about Testlify? Here are answers to the most commonly asked questions about our company.

This is a hypothetical prompt designed to resemble key aspects of this role’s responsibilities. Each take-home project is thoughtfully designed by the hiring manager to include a grading system, concise directions, and clear goals. These projects may take between 3-6 hours to complete depending on the role. However, we never use your work product.

Our application process promotes equitable and unbiased hiring practices. We ask a short series of questions, similar to what you would be asked in the first interview. This helps us learn more about you right from the start, so please be sure to answer each question thoughtfully. All applications are reviewed by a team member; qualified applications undergo secondary review. Regardless of fit, we will let you know if you’re moving forward.

You’ll first meet with the hiring manager. We seek to understand you, your background, your professional goals, and what’s important to you when choosing the company. This call is an opportunity for you to ask questions about the role, company, culture, values, or product.

After the skills assessment, we’ll dive into your technical skills during 1 to 2 interviews hosted by your potential colleagues. This step focuses on the specifics of the role and provides you an opportunity to ask the team about their experiences at Testlify.

Interviews conclude with a 1:1, 30-minute call with one of our Co-Founders or VP of Engineering. These are typically honest conversations that allow you the opportunity to discuss any outstanding questions. Our founders are active leaders at Testlify and genuinely interested in every person who joins the team.

We’ll ask you to provide three references who can speak to your professional experience–ideally at least one of whom you’ve reported to. These calls help us validate what we already believe to be true based on our interviews with you.
