Having employees capable of communicating in English at the intermediate level will help improve your company’s internal and external communications, removing language barriers and improving the flow of information and collaboration among colleagues and to and from customers.
The English (intermediate/B1) test evaluates a candidate’s ability to speak and write at the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages. It covers four skill areas: grammar and vocabulary, sentence composition, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension.
Intermediate-level speakers of English should feel comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues, and handle basic work tasks. The sentences and topics in the test resemble those in daily situations at work and at home.
